The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir session with me!
Our number 1 priority making sure our clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir! It can be a life changing experience, but that also makes it nerve wrecking! Sometimes, you are learning how to Leo your body and you aren’t quite ready to share the image with the world, or sometimes these photos are specifically for your spouse and aren’t for anyone else’s eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preferences! If thee are photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission first, and only share what you are comfortable with!
You definitely don’t have to specifically wear lingerie, it deepens on your personality! There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things!

We offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your shoot, and the balance is due on the day of the shoot! If you want more time to be able to pay, you can schedule it a few months out, and pay it off in payments! We can do weekly, bi-weekly or monthly payments. Let me know if this is something that you want to set up!
Hair and makeup is included in all our boudoir shoots! I think it’s really important for you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing makeup artist can help you complete your look, whether it’s the “I just woke up like this” or Full of glam! You can bring any ideas you want for your makeup and we can try to use it for inspiration!
I edit your images for light, exposure and color balance and try not to edit anything permanent out. I think it can be damaging to have a boudoir session done, and then edit out parts of yourself that make you who you are! Part of the process of accepting yourself and seeing your beauty also means not photoshopping out parts of yourself you don’t like. If there are parts of yourself that you are learning to love and aren’t thrilled about, that is okay! We are skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best and brings out your shine!
There are a few places to buy outfits from and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your shoot! Here is a long list to choose form with different style and sizing! Victoria Secret, Forever21, Adoreme.com, Torrid, eberjay.com, Aerie, forevteryourslingerie.ca, hipsandcurves.com, jasminestaceycollection.co, Shein and of course Amazon.
We offer a variety of albums and luxury glass boxes with prints in them! The glass legacy box with the 8×10 mated prints are my favorite. I absolutely love the feel of picking up a physical print, it’s so surreal to see yourself like that! Our albums can range in size from the perfect little black book which is a 6×6, to our luxury velvet albums which can be as big as an 12×12!
All of our packages include some sort of print product, album and a certain amount of digital images. Any digital images, come in a locked online gallery, for you to download and share!
Nerves are all part of the experience! I always say that it would probably be weird if you WEREN’T nervous. The nervousness in the beginning of your shoot make your moment of “WOW” seeing your photos for the first time so much better!
Typically it’s one outfit for every 30 minutes. I usually shoot for 60-90 minutes, so we can easily get 3 outfits in! I say bring more, so if you can’t decide, I can help decide at your shoot!
Being right onetime is ideal! I may be doing a last minute cleaning up or rearranging right before your shoot! If you do get there early, no big deal, just send me a message and I can meet you at my studio door!
My private home studio is located Edmond, Oklahoma. I serve all women from all surrounding areas, including, Yukon, Norman, Oklahoma City, and all metro areas outside of Oklahoma City. You’ll enter the studio through the closest door to the driveway (so please come up and pull into the driveway!).
