Why did you choose Ellie for your session?
I chose Ellie because of all the wonderful reviews I read. Everyone said they were made to feel so comfortable during the whole process, and when I talked with Ellie on the phone for my consult, I could see why. I also loved her gallery and style of photos.
What made you decide to take the leap of faith and do a boudoir session?
I had been wanting to for years, it was just never the right time. I decided to do this as an anniversary present (for both of us) and I’m so happy I did!
Were you nervous before the shoot and if so, what were you most nervous about?
Of course! I was nervous about being in my lingerie, not knowing how to pose, and the pics not turning out perfect.
Did you become comfortable after the session started?
Yes! Ellie showed me exactly what to do and made the whole process so easy and fun. Having music on the whole time definitely helped too!
What was your favorite part of the experience and why?
I think my favorite part was just knowing “I did it” and being very happy I did.
How did you feel during the session?
Although I was still slightly nervous, I felt more excited and like I was having fun at the photo shoot.
Describe how you felt when you saw your photos for the first time.
I was in love! All the apprehension about not getting it right was gone. They were perfect and I was so happy!
What would you say to people who say they can’t do a boudoir session, because they are too shy, nervous… etc?
Everyone feels this way! It’s totally normal. But going out of my comfort zone to take these amazing photos that I’ll have forever was absolutely 100% worth it. Hands down!
